I purposely used an old beat-up spaceguy here for these pix to see how • well
the details showed up.  You can see bite marks in his feet.  (No, not from
me; I've acquired quite a lot of used LEGO from various sources.)

Ah, that was fun. I've thought of building up the rest of the "fleet" that
lego didn't design just to see how far I could get with the design variation.

[moved here from lugnet.publish] (...) I decided I couldn't bear to suffer through the indecision of an April Fool's Day three years in a row. Although it might've been a decent AFD prank, I wouldn't've been able to live with myself if it'd worked (...) (25 years ago, 15-Feb-99, to lugnet.build)
