I've found it! The vehicles I was refering to was the Raider.

Yeah it's a great site, I've actually seen it before, it'll be on my
favourites list somewhere.
Looking through the site reminds me of the rubbish designs of some of the
more esoteric vehicles. And those cockpits with the huge exspanses of glass
must have made Joe vehicles some of the worst protected military vehicles
ever produced!
