(...) Mark, I saw the Hardygun on Brickshelf a little while ago. Very nice work. The head works very well by making the body look bulked up and buffed out. You have a wonderful way of making cylinders look so cool and functional at the same time. (...) (23 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

(...) Thanks Bryce. The Hardygun is also small enough that I should be able to bring it along when I come to visit. :^) ~1st Lieutenant, Fleebnork Division Muffin Head (23 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Hey I forgot to tease you about using those silly throw-up bot joints. Who would ever use those dumb things?? ;-) Also the long term spamcake exposure has caused you to forget your URL in the first post. Bryce (23 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Hmm, my URL is in my signature where it always is. Have you been hitting the spamcake yourself? ;^) ~1st Lieutenant, Fleebnork Division Muffin Head (23 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) As always, spectacular! Also, I never noticed that you made seperate entries for your racers. Very nice stuff! Greg "Furniture made of wheat germ" Majewski (URL) (23 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update 04/14/01

(...) A rugged military mecha with nice details, like the white fire control radome cylinder on the head. I'd delete the translucent vision block though, it's just begging for some smart foot soldier to shoot it out and be a big hero for a few (...) (...) Heh. Well, It's made of material strong enough to withstand common personnel weapons fire. Besides, any soldier dumb enough to try would meet a hail of depleted uranium shells. :^) ~1st Lieutenant, Fleebnork Division Muffin Head (23 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

(...) I think the vision block is one its better features. It kinda gives the mecha a "Destroidish" feel. However, not counting the missile racks, which totally rock, the mecha looks a little too bulky above the shoulders. It looks like the (...) (...) It has been a long time since I visited your site and I must say I am very impressed, particularly with your mecha and spacecraft. Normally I am not into the “space theme”, but the realistic look of your stuff really appeals to me, (...) (23 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update 04/14/01

(...) The arms actually can't be placed any higher because of the structure of the mecha. I could have mounted the head/shoulders/launchers assembly lower, but then I'd have lost the attach points for the large tanks on its back. Anyway, I realize (...) I haven't built a Gundam replica yet, simply because I think I would rather use bits and pieces from my favorite mecha and create my own. If you look (...)
