Classic Space style Space Shuttle MOC —Eric DeGiuli
I just sent this, but I think that my computer's date was messed up and may not have sent correctly (...) but (...) (23 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Classic Space style Space Shuttle MOC —Andrew Tyrone
(...) Very cool! I like how the bridge can open by itself with hinges. Good job. =) -- dataAndrew (URL) (23 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Classic Space style Space Shuttle MOC —Kyle Keppler
Welcome! Very nice! I like how it all opens and such. And the Classic Space/Futuron-ness is very well done. Very good for a first model! Build on... (...) (23 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Classic Space style Space Shuttle MOC —John D. Forinash
(...) I like it. I particularly like the clear "floor" sections you have in the cockpit and second section. The blue "mailboxes" are a great idea for equipment lockers. The ship has a nice blend of symmetry where it's appropriate and lack thereof (...) (23 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Classic Space style Space Shuttle MOC —Mark Sandlin
(...) I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade here, but... hasn't *everyone* used these as equpiment lockers? ~1st Lieutenant, Fleebnork Division Muffin Head (23 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Classic Space style Space Shuttle MOC —Andrew Tyrone
(...) Yeah, I noticed that too. I've seen a lot that do, some of mine included. -- dataAndrew (URL) (23 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Classic Space style Space Shuttle MOC —Mark Nelson
Excelent model you got there. :) I've been thinking of building a large ship myself one of these days. (...) Yes, I'll admit, the A.C.F. FireWand does have them. But they arn't used for holding equipment. They are bomb-bays. -- Mark Nelson LCC (...) (23 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Classic Space style Space Shuttle MOC —Trevor Pruden
(...) Yup. Just picked up a bunch of them for that purpose. ~Trev Astro Lift Co. (23 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Classic Space style Space Shuttle MOC —John D. Forinash
(...) Is this where I plead the fifth amendment? No, seriously, though, I keep trying to do silly stuff like build lockers using car doors. I just never think of "open downward" as opposed to "open sideways". -JDF (23 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Lockers as mailboxes? —Paul Hartzog
(...) heh heh, I just picked up 6416 Poolside Paradise and it uses an equipment locker as a mailbox ROFL go figger ;-) -paul (23 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Lockers as mailboxes? —Andrew Tyrone
(...) Maybe the boxes in the ship were actually mailboxes. -- dataAndrew (URL) (23 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Lockers as mailboxes? —Scott Edward Sanburn
To All, (...) as (...) Interesting, this makes LEGO elements truly unique, as many different people can use these parts for different things. I use these parts, or have used them, like this: Equipment lockers, mailboxes, hazardous storage (...) (23 years ago, 5-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Lockers as mailboxes? —Andrew Tyrone
(...) Oh that's just great. Some innocent minifig tries to check his mailbox and... BOOM! A missile straight into his little hollow head. -- dataAndrew (URL) (23 years ago, 5-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)
