<snipped intro>

thanks... if I'd put more thought into it, i probably could've made some
retracts, but its designed to be an easy to produce ship. no need for
retracts, although the black bits are, as the BG said, supposed to be
computer-controlled shocks. it actually looks better without them, but it
can't carry a usefully sized module that way ( you wouldn't land a skycrane
on the cargo, would you?)now that i look at it, it also looks vaguely like
the cargo ships from "Space: Above and Beyond"... or so it seems to me...

Nice work, Anthony!

I can see the Sky Crane's influence. Your's is more visually similar to • the
Sky Crane than my Condor drop ship was, but it's cool to see someone else
got inspiration from them. I've gotten a chance to see some of them up • close
when I was on vacation a few years ago in southern Washington state (near
Mt. St. Helens). They're really impressive creatures. :)

About the only thing I see that I'd probably change (curse you Muffin
Head!!) would be the langing gear. I'm slowly going over to the "Sandlin
side" and have come to like the old landing 'stilts' less and less.

Good stuff!
