The nice pictures are thanks to my Olympus D490 Digital Camera and the
excellent touch-up software included with it.
As far as color schemes go, I usually use one primary color with another,
complimentary color as trim. Then, I may put various ornaments on it of a
third or fourth color, but this is usually a very small percentage of the
bricks or it starts to look gaudy.
As far as rules of architecture, I like to mix together various different
architectural styles in the same building. I'm a big fan of various
classical styles including Gothic, and Baroque. I also like modern styles
like "Art Deco" (now a bit dated, but still of this century). Usually, the
"mix" of styles comes out looking relatively modern, or a bit like a
fantasy, story-book building. I get my ideas out of art and architecture
