  Feature Requests for Brickshelf

Brickshelf is a fantastic tool to LEGO builders. It is fast, reliable, and easy to use. Furthermore, it automatically supports thumbnails and hierarchical directories (stuff that is a bit tedious to do manually). I've begun to use Brickshelf more (...)   Re: More pictures of new starfighter

Actually you can see in some of the pics that the wings have dropped down and the engines are sort of fanned out. I like to think that it could be more maneuverable like this. I was considering actually putting a couple of small nozzles near the (...) (24 years ago, 4-Feb-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: WWII Creations: Panzer III and Stuka

Amazing Shaun! Like I said in previous posts or e-mails (can't remember), all your WWII models are divine; the level of detail and accuracy is amazing, and the way you've handled all the curves and angles is excellent too. (...) (24 years ago, 4-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

Re: WWII Creations: Panzer III and Stuka

That Stuka is awsome! That's a very difficult thing to model in LEGO because of all the funny curves, but your design really mimics the actual shape nicely. Brad Shaun Sullivan <shaun_sullivan@irco.com> wrote in message (...) (24 years ago, 4-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

Re: WWII Creations: Panzer III and Stuka

Thanks! I originally had the tank all in light grey, but I decided to opt for the contrast of the two-tone color scheme. I wanted it to come across looking like the splotchy camo patterns that were hastily applied. The tracks are indeed (...) (24 years ago, 4-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

Re: WWII Creations: Panzer III and Stuka

Thanks Eric, I've appreciated your comments all along. It bears mentioning again (I posted about it when I replied to your Project 1138 airplane) that the pilot's seat in the Stuka is a direct ripoff of your fabulous quilted fabric airplane seat. I (...)   WWII Creations: Panzer III and Stuka

Hi all, I finally got hold of a digital camera to take some pictures of the Panzer III tank I finished a couple of weeks ago.   Re: Monorail/Train Transit Terminal

(...) I've been pretty impressed by LEGO stickers. They are made of a pretty rugged paper and I have always found that if a sticker was stuck on well (if not in quite the right position), that you can pretty much always lift it and re-apply it (...)   Re: Monorail/Train Transit Terminal

I noticed that a portion of the sticker was off the piece, so I tried to gently pull that part up. Luckily, it came right up without any damage whatsoever. Even better, it left almost all of the discoloration and dirt on the brick rather than the (...) (24 years ago, 4-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Monorail/Train Transit Terminal

Ah - I see that you are right. Unfortunately, I bought this set from someone else, who bought it from yet another person. It was that third person that applied the sticker impromperly. I'm afraid to change it now given that its almost 10 years old! (...) (24 years ago, 4-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains)
