Just completed the 8458 Silver Champion. Many thanks to Matt for posting the
sale of this model at Walmart.com.
The model is truly impressive. The engineering and assembly are excellent.
The front suspension could have used a little bit more spring, but it is
still functional. The frame is very sturdy considering its length. I enjoyed
the assembly with exception of a few mistakes I made through my own
negligence. The instructions are flawless. I wish Lego had provided a driver
for the model. A Technic figure is totally lost in the immensity of the
racer.
Now for the alternate model, a semi truck. Good job, Lego
