I remember a pic of a Creator set being posted, and speculation that they
would use those figs for the HP sets because the female hair was frizzy
like Hermione's.  I'm almost completely certain that is what he;'s
thinking about - at least, I haven't heard anything about any *real*
pre-release photos of HP sets.

Is this picture available on the web anywhere?  I'd love to see it.

Here's the old thread which contains a link to the pic at the bottom.

All these pics/sets are available on LEGO's web site - they're the Creator Line
- which appears to be focused on LEGO BASIC.

S@H has them in their database, but no price or availability details...

I suspect that this is the replacement line for the Black and White style BASIC
sets we just cycled through.

I'ld call these BASICFIGS  :-)

Or another picture from Brickset:

Huh... wierd... some sort of new, hybrid minifigs it looks like... they look
almost perfectly on par with playmobil scale if my eyes don't deceive me...

Actually, they look somewhat similar to Fabuland, which would probably be
reasonable since many of the elements would still be reasonable to use with
minifigs, and they are small enough to still provide decent structures for.

Here's a better picture of a creator fig:

Hmm, on that look, they're more like an improved minifig. The hip joint is
minifig like. The torso is also taller (the Fabuland torsos are a little short
for the legs). Their arms are also more minifig like, with a bend at the • elbow,
but it doesn't look like the hands can rotate.
