These are simply great! I liked the welsh castle the best.

Which Welsh castle?  The Rhuddlan Castle or the Harlech Castle?

I think the one called Conway Castle is also known as Caernarvon.  During
the Welsh rebellion, the English (Normans maybe?) built a bunch of castles
in Wales to defend strategic locations.  Caernarvon was one that was
completed just at the end of the rebellion.  If I remember correctly it was
built on a small irregular island in the Conway River.  It is a beautiful
castle comprised of several towers connected with walls encircling 2 yards
of different levels.  Some of the towers were topped by smaller towers.
Buildings were built running along the inner walls.  It had 2 or 3
gatehouses, at least one led to a dock.  Each tower was named, like Eagles
Tower, Reeves Tower, etc.  It is one of my favorite castles.

Conwy and Caernarvon are two different castles.  Caernarvon is where Prince
Charles' ceremony to become Prince of Whales was held.  It has Octagonal
Towers, is sorta curved in overall shape, and I believe it is the royal castle
in Whales.  Personally I like Conwy better.  ;)
