I was looking through the '98 Playmobil catalogs in the "Add-Ons"
section and saw the 7201 Underwater Motor Pack ($5.59).  This unit takes
1 AA battery and LOOKS a lot like the unit pictured on the back of Lego
floating boat instructions.  Has anyone tried this on the Lego floating
boats?  Is it compatible?

(...) A LEGO friend of mine has tried it & reports that it does work. She even recommended going out & buying one.... I forget our exact conversation, but I think she said that it may require a little modification to the motor. The slit in the motor (...) (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.build)
