Yep - I guess that the CAD buildings can be built and posted much faster
plastic buildings.

I've noticed that I tend to skip over the details on larger structures as
well.
For instance, on my really big "cathedral"
http://members.home.net/hmltn1/aqua/cathedral.htm ) is primarily impressive
because of its size. It really has few details. In constrast, my small
"church" ( http://members.home.net/hmltn1/aqua/mcleau.htm ) is loaded with
tons of small details. On the church, I wasn't so worried about how I was
actually going to build the walls. I could spend more time on little
details.
