Yes. This is called the "Just-a-sec" phenomenon, and is mosty easily discerned
just as your wife calls out, "Dinner's ready!"

The "Happy Mistake" phenomenon occurs usually when there's a ring at the bell,
or when you realize you hafta be somewhere you don't really want to be for the
rest of the day.
