Hi Everyone!

This past weekend I finally had some quiet time to focus on various things
that I had been meaning to get to.

One was to get some pictures of some of my lego creations onto the web.  The
result of my work can be found at:

http://home.att.net/~jim.foulds/index.htm

The page is very basic with only a sample of some of my creations.  I used a
cheapo webcam so the pictures are not that great.  Before I started investing
serious money into anything, I wanted to see how interested I was in doing it
and how easy it was to get done.  I can honestly say that I had a lot fun and
am looking forward to getting a better camera and expanding my website.

Second, I wanted to create a story around my site and MOCs.  I didn't put much
of any story on this version, I added some touches, but I will wait until the
next version to make a real go of it.

Thirdly, I downloaded all the great CAD and POV programs that were recommended
here on Lugnet.  I must say at first I was a little intimidated, but after
some rough spots, I really grew to like them.  I highly recommend to anyone
that is interested in these tools to try them out.  My advice is have patience
and read all the documentation that is available on the web.  Of course you
can always ask any questions you may have here on Lugnet!  I will definitely
be using these tools to not only catergorize my creations, but also to
supplement real photos on my website in the future.

All in all, I had a lot of fun.  I wanted to thank everyone personally who has
inspired me or helped created some of those wonderful tools, but the list is
rather large.  So instead I will just say thanks to all my fellow Lugnetters
(sp?) for all the help you probably didn't even know you gave me!

As always, any comments, critizisms, ideas, or suggestions are always welcome.

Keep building!
Thanks,
   Jim Foulds
