Yeah, I like to do those kind of trees (too bad I don't have any pics from my
big town MOC... over two years ago). I think the big leaves work better with
brown bricks than the palm tree trunk, tho'... now that I have some brown
bricks, I can make some normal(ish) trees... I also use some of the brown
2x2x3 slopes from 6091 for the [few] trees that I'm making for my storyline.

Well, I strongly agree-- the palm tree trunk pieces make it look a little odd--
no branches or anything.. but sadly, few people have enough brown to do an
actual brown tree, let alone more than 1 or 2. So hopefully this can suffice as
a less-brown-intense solution for those of us out there with very little brown!
