Thanks for your links, but I think I should add more:
First off, I have other photos of local Airport Fire Trucks in my files. I
tried building on a while back, with a 6 stud base. I scrapped it.
Considering the width of many of these trucks, it seems right to have the
thing 6 studs wide (Kinda like #6440 Jetport Fire Squad).

| That was my point, all of those are six wide. In the first link, a bit down the page, look at the yellow truck. Go six wide, hang the cab just in front of the axle and use some inverse slopes to get the shape right. (...) Paul Foster (URL) (25 years ago, 26-Mar-00, to lugnet.build) !
