I mentioned this idea to Paul at one of the BayLUG meetings.
My brother built a roller coaster out of the old plastic rails.
He put the rails on their sides to get the curve up and curve down.
I think a r.t.l'er did this too, but I don't remember who.
My brother did it with blue rails and it was rather flimsy.
Using gray rails will be better since they snap on to their ties.
