This is really neat. I can't tell from the raytraces, but is there a
gap at the top of the canopy?

Well, a very, very small one, perhaps.  But otherwise I was quite happy
to see that it fitted very nicely.  On the other hand, there _is_ a gap
just in front of the 6L sloped technic beam.  So that pilot needs to
wear a space suit, I suppose!  :-)

It may also be worthwhile to point out that I used white 2x2x2 panels
for air intakes on the sides, just in front of the wedges.  This is
hardly a new idea, thought, but it still looks nice.

It's interesting, Fred posted last week about a minifig scale bucket
loader from Technic, and now he's doing almost Flight stuff (better
then TLG though). I hope this is not a progressive disorder and we
find him posting things like:

LOOK! Ive just made a car using a Town Jr chassis and 4 wheels, and a
windshield. Isn't it cool!

:-)  I hope so too!

Thanks for your comments.

I hope your better half understands...

She's actually encouraging me to get more LEGO!  ("It's your hobby --
It's worth spending money on.")
