I like it (even as a non-chess fan, but I liked the musical). A good use of
"lateral" thinking too ;)
How many pieces in total do you think? I reakon you should give the table
option a go too.
A bit more light on the model when you photograph it to bring out the detail
in the pieces would be nice. Or are my brightness and contrast settings way
of....let's have a fiddle with the monitor....

| Piece count estimation: The board squares each (of 32 black, 32 red) consist of: - 16 1x4 - 4 2x2 - 4 1x2 I'm not sure about the yellow grid... lots of 1x4, 1x6, 1x8 as well as some red pieces (unseen on bottom grid level interior). There are black (...) (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)
