Very tough-looking. I like it! In an era where sci-fi vehicles are getting
smaller and smaller drive systems, it's refreshing to see your approach. The
four swept-forward jets are a plus -- this would allow for better
maneuverability and add stability in flight, reducing the number of cycles the
onboard computer would need for fly-by-wire routines. I'd bet a stack of
monopole rechargers *this tall* that the same engineers who designed the XP-21
also worked on the XG48i.
The cannons are cool, too -- it looks like it has two pairs of forward-facing
guns, and two pairs which gimble at the sides. Both weapon sets undoubtably
draw power straight from the engines. Hmmm, looking at the large window for
the tail gunner...would pilots of this craft deliberately lure enemy craft
into chasing them to allow a better target for the side guns?
Um, wow. I like it. Ldraw it, dude. :-,
