| | Best selection of parts to mess around with Matt Marshall

| | Any sugestions on the best selection of parts to take to oh I don't know a really boring physics class and play with? I want to take my collection but I'm afraid it would disapear into the blackhole that is my backpack. Anyone else take selections (...) (25 years ago, 12-Oct-99, to lugnet.build)

| | | | Seconded. If you can write the exam before you start the class and get an A, you should just place out of the class and take a different one. If you can't do that, pay attention to each and every class. Physics is important. (not as important as (...) (25 years ago, 13-Oct-99, to lugnet.build)

Well, if I may jump in here to defend myself-- my only point is, if it's to what I think Lar is referring, is that I think scientists today (in general) think they've got a pretty good idea as to what's up in the universe. I say they don't (...) (25 years ago, 15-Oct-99, to lugnet.build)

| | | | | | | | (...) Well, just to put the $.02 in that I never did, I'd say that when writing, either avoid swears all together, or use 'em. The insult/resentment of reading a swear is not in the word itself, as Jeremy pointed out, but in the intention. Hence, (...) (25 years ago, 26-Nov-99, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)
