is there anyway to raise the thin baseplates above the ground. I know you
can't attach stuff to the bottom but I am still hoping it's possible to
raise them slightly, maybe about a full brick off the ground. I was thinking
of setting up some sort of frame around it but I'm not quite sure the best
way to go through with that. Does anyone have any suggestions??

(...) works pretty well. All of my monorail is 4 bricks higher than the supports. That means that I had to raise the monorail station baseplates 4 bricks as well. Here's a rough graphic: ###### <- Plate (2x4) ###---...--- <- baseplate (## is a 2x2 (...) (26 years ago, 20-Oct-98, to lugnet.build)
