Beginners learning to use LEGO Technic parts should look at the exercises
in set 1031. You will find scans of the instructions on Kevin Loch's site
at
http://www.kl.net/scans/1000/1031/
The mostly simple instructions include:
- How Technic parts fit together
- Triangles for strength
- Gears changing speed and direction
- Pulley wheels and lifts
- Levers
- Changing circular to & from linear
- Centrifugal force & whirling rides
- Weighing beam scale
- Steering simply & advanced
- Water and wind power
The scans include pictures of real machines next to the LEGO models. This
set looks very much like LEGO Dacta educational sets, but it does not
include student worksheets.
