I’m not sure this qualifies as a dome. I like to or at least try to make my
roofs “exciting”. A dull roof can kill a house with an otherwise
great/interesting facade. So once I said to myself, let’s add a small
observatory to the rooftop. Well, it was going to be a pretty small observatory
so I needed a pretty small dome - actually a dome split in the middle! As you
will see, it is a big-time fake observatory, it can not be rotated. The
cross-section is not even a circle. Anyways, here is is my dome, or perhaps
cupola:
