This is probably the last military ground vehicle I will be pressing into
service for the Tabletown Army - well, for a while at least.

My brief here was to complete a trio of vehicles so that the Tabletown troops
actually had something to ride around in, and to keep it to the same style as
the Triumph Class LAVs and the Aggressor Class MBT.

I'm not 100% happy with it - but then, how exactly do you make an APC look
"interesting" given that it's just a big metal box for carrying soldiers around?
So, on the basis that I may upgrade it or change it, I'm going to call this the
Infiltrator, Mk 1.

The Infiltrator is larger than I expected it to be, it's purpose is of course to
ferry troops into battle in relative safety. As you'll see, it uses many of the
same characteristics as the previous military vehicles I've constructed and this
was a primary consideration.

The Infiltrator generally has one driver as crew, although two can sit up front
if necessary - the second seat might be used by a troop commander for example.
Atop the vehicle are twin 20mm "autocannon" - computer controlled robotic guns
mounted on a motorised turret. These weapons are intended to lay down
suppressing fire as the Infiltrator moves into position, and to defend the
vehicle if attacked. It can also be used to provide covering fire for advancing
troops, "fixing" an enemy in position with withering fire whilst the troops
outflank the enemy positions.

Here is a side view. Unlike other vehicles serving with the Tabletown Army, the
Infiltrator is not capable of fording rivers in a submerged state and NBC
protection is limited to three hours due to the strains placed on internal life
support systems with troops on board.  Atop the autocannon turret is a small
senor that uses RADAR and infra-red to locate targets. Ammunition is fed from
boxes inside the crew compartments.

Designed by Sinister Industries, a division of S.INC, the Infiltrator features
the same bars mounted on the side armour which can electrify the hull to prevent
enemy infantry assault.

The troop compartment to the rear can carry up to six fully-armed and equipped
soldiers, a full Tabletown Army Squad. Egress is made via the rear hatch which
raises to allow the troops to hit the ground running. This also provides a small
degree of protection to disembarking troops from airborne threats.

The Infiltrator's armour is heavy for an APC, but incapable of withstanding
heavy fire and it is not recommended for use in direct combat where the risk of
return fire might disable or destroy it. In practical terms this means that the
Infiltrator will generally withdraw once its load of troops are in position if
anything above small arms fire is threatening it.

Here we see the complete set of vehicles, from left to right, an Aggressor Class
MBT, an Infiltrator Class APC and a Triumph Class LAV.

As can be seen from this image, the Tabletown Army has already begun using the
Infiltrator Mk 1.
