Re: The most famous German sofa.

(...) Good rendition. I'm not familiar with the show (don't get much German comedy in Aus... unless you count Inspector Rex) but I am familiar with Lego :) Is it two sided or does its facade hide all sort of secrets (very fitting for a TV show)? Tim (18 years ago, 30-Oct-07, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  The most famous German sofa.

Hello! It's the sofa the best German comedian Loriot and his no less best assistant Evelyn Hamann sat on when presenting their TV sketches in the 1970s.   Eternity Puzzle

Hi all, When I was showing my interlocking puzzles during the 75th anniversary of LEGO, one of the employees asked me if I'd already heard of the (recently launched) Eternity II Puzzle: the first one who manages to solve it, wins $2million. He (...) (18 years ago, 23-Oct-07, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, FTX) !!

  Re: Two more interlocking puzzles

(...) Allan, I'm glad to hear you like my puzzles. Making the puzzles "aesthetically pleasing" was of course the biggest challenge: the choice of colour (tan) makes them look like they're made of a soft kind of wood (e.g. deal), and I didn't want a (...) (18 years ago, 17-Oct-07, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Two more interlocking puzzles

Hi Maarten, These are wonderful, thank you for posting them! They're not only an example of highly technical LEGO building, but they're also aesthetically pleasing. :) All the best! Allan B. (18 years ago, 16-Oct-07, to lugnet.build)

  Two more interlocking puzzles

Hi all, I built them a few months ago, but couldn't find the time to place them online: The Altekruse puzzle (with 12 or 14 similar pieces): (click image) (2 URLs) A 6-piece Burr puzzle: (click image) (URL) Larger images in my (URL) (...) I really like how you built the (URL) St. Louis Arch> with all regular slopes. It's a pity that LEGO has never made a 65° inverted slope. David (18 years ago, 9-Oct-07, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Five micro skyscrapers

After seeing Adam Tucker's amazing skyscrapers at Brickworld I was inspired to try my own micro-scale versions. To date I've produced five: 1.Sears Tower (Inspired by Adam Tucker, and SpencerR) (URL) 2.St. Louis Arch (URL) 3. Petronas Towers (URL) (...)
