These are so cool!

I made one last year, as a prototype for a much larger project (was to be part of public Egyptian exhibition, the large one would have been exactly 4 times larger - each sliding tile would have been the size of this whole prototype puzzle). Pictures and video clip below.

I like your very clever use of the “slotted” pieces and rails. Unlike yours, I used simple tiles and plates. I was actually pleasantly surprised with how well it worked.

So we (GFLUG) had our display at the Festival of the Master in Downtown Disney, in front of the LEGO Imagination Store. Joe Meno & I bought some of the new mosaic sets the night before & had a blast with them... WARNING: they're very addictive! (...) (18 years ago, 17-Nov-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build) !!
