These are so cool!
I made one last year, as a prototype for a much larger project (was to be part
of public Egyptian exhibition, the large one would have been exactly 4 times
larger - each sliding tile would have been the size of this whole prototype
puzzle). Pictures and video clip below.
I like your very clever use of the slotted pieces and rails. Unlike yours, I
used simple tiles and plates. I was actually pleasantly surprised with how well
it worked.

| So we (GFLUG) had our display at the Festival of the Master in Downtown Disney, in front of the LEGO Imagination Store. Joe Meno & I bought some of the new mosaic sets the night before & had a blast with them... WARNING: they're very addictive! (...) (18 years ago, 17-Nov-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build) !!
