Hi Ted,

Wow! The circular staircase and circular brick cylinder core are just to-die-for wonderful!

Thanks for your comment.

Question: Are the inside edges of the stairs locked to the tall brick cylinder walls?

Oh yes, they are. I used a substituon for one of these 1x2-bricks: 3 plates 2x10, 2x6 and 2x1. The long plates are forming the stairs, with tiles on top. All stairs are built this way. On the inside the stairs are 1 stud deep (the other stud is covered by the next stair), on the outside the stair has a depth of 2 studs. On the outer side, the stairs are locked in the same way. This results in a stair of 14 studs length with 12 studs (with tiles) visible.

I hope, you can understand what I mean..... English is not my first language.

(...) Andreas- I think "LEGO" is your first language! Luckily, it's universal. -Ted (18 years ago, 21-Jan-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)
