Re: Another offer from JJ's: escritoire & iron stove

(...) That was the conclusion I came to as well... (...) I haven't seen that short of a hose around, do you know what set off-hand? Thanks and God Bless, Nathan (21 years ago, 26-Sep-05, to lugnet.build)

Re: Another offer from JJ's: escritoire & iron stove

Hello! Thanks. (...) I'm glad I did not *intend* to build a vignette. :-) It just came along. (...) History books will call my reign the "Golden Age of Escritoires". That's certainly something to be proud of. Bye Jojo (21 years ago, 26-Sep-05, to lugnet.build)

Re: Another offer from JJ's: escritoire & iron stove

Hello! Thanks. (...) I say: It's impossible to build an actually "rolling" roll desk with LEGO. In minifig scale that is :-) (...) That are rubber hoses. They only come in few colours but luckily brown amongst them. Bye Jojo (21 years ago, 26-Sep-05, to lugnet.build)

Re: Another offer from JJ's: escritoire & iron stove

(...) This is awsome! I have been comtemplating building a roll-desk (my slang) for ages, but could never come up with the right combination of pieces. Speaking of pieces; what did you use for the back of the chair? God Bless, Nathan (21 years ago, 24-Sep-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Did Someone Say Monorail?

(...) Tom, this is absolutly L33T. I never stop being amazed by the things others can do with LEGO. Truely impresive. Mat (21 years ago, 22-Sep-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Another offer from JJ's: escritoire & iron stove

(...) Nice work Jojo. Although I agree that the vignette "wow effect" is missing, it doesn't detract from the great part selection and attention to detail. (the parts used for the edge of the roll-top for one) You sir, are the unrivaled king of (...) (21 years ago, 21-Sep-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Another offer from JJ's: escritoire & iron stove

(...) "Secretary" springs to mind, but literally the translation is writing desk. Jojo: Those are awesome. I especially like the chair! LFB (21 years ago, 21-Sep-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Studless Brick Wall Study

(...) Hello all and thanks a lot for all of your wonderful comments! I truly do appreciate it. OK, here are the details. For the actual brick wall part I only used multiples of four different pieces; a 1x1 gray five-studded brick, a 1x1 gray technic (...)   Did Someone Say Monorail?

Hello all, 3vilrain Monorail - (2 URLs) I've been wanting to do this idea for some years, and I finally had everything I needed. It uses no official monorail parts, no parts were modded to make this design work, and the design is all Lego parts. (...)   Re: Today's offer from JJ's Furniture Store: A cupboard

(...) Very nice. (...) I recommend using a darker background for photographing white models. They stand out better. Cheers, Allister (21 years ago, 19-Sep-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  WIP: Unnamed Minifig Scale Ship

This is not an official SW starship, though some design elements were derived from the Venator. It's more of an escort/attack cruiser much smaller in size but fast, deadly and deploys frontline clonetroopers. The light gray with dark gray and dark (...) (...) This is so clean it makes me slightly sick : ) Another piece of great small furniture that makes my own interiors seem yet more cumbersome... 'Thanks for sharing'? :-) God Bless, Nathan Visit my brickshelf gallery: (URL) (pic=link) (21 years ago, 17-Sep-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Help on custom kit in honor of Brian Kelley's son Joshua's life

Brian Kelley, who is having difficulty posting to LUGNET, asked me to post to LUGNET asking for assistance in creating a commemorative model to celebrate his late son Joshua's life. I did a quick search for a post from Brian regarding his son's (...) (21 years ago, 16-Sep-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, lugnet.people, lugnet.cad) !!

  Studless Brick Wall Study

Jojo, that is beautiful (if small)! The objects inside the "windows" really make it stand out. I have started to do interiors as a result of seeing your stuff last year. -Erik (...) (21 years ago, 16-Sep-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Today's offer from JJ's Furniture Store: A cupboard

(...) Very well done, this is one of those brilliant little creations that shows how impressive a small MOC can be. Will you be building more pieces of furniture in the same style? Derek (21 years ago, 15-Sep-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Today's offer from JJ's Furniture Store: A cupboard
