I prefer 'Tek Nik'. To me, the word "Technic" seems derived from
"technical", so that pronunciation most closely follows.
"Tek Neeq", as derived from "technique" is also applicable. In fact, my
dictionary shows "technic" as an alternate form under the heading of
"technique".
But the pronunciation guide shows "technic" as being pronounced 'Tek Nik'.

| (...) I agree. Besides that you gets lots of yellow beams and other pieces! I bought 4-5 sets at $17 ea at Target last year. My son and I are trying to construct sort of a "landing bay" for our SW1 Naboo Fighter. The yellow Technic* beams look nice (...) (25 years ago, 8-Jun-99, to lugnet.build)
