Superb as always, Mel. There’s an amazing amount of shape and texture to the
building exterior, and I didn’t realise just how many different varieties
of flowers were made by Lego. I was so convinced some of them could not have
been Lego that I had to check to the bricklink catalogue to make sure that
they really were.

Yes, everything I used is LEGO or to do with them (Scala, System, Belville,
Clikits etc). You should know me by now ;) NO CLONES!!! :P

However, I am intrigued with your use of the CLIKITS flowers. How are you
connecting them to the sprues? I think I see one of those Scala 1x1 rounds
with funny bumps underneath them, is that the secret?

Just like this:
I didn’t have a lot of time to figure out various ways of attaching the Clikit
flowers, so I just went with what seemed logic at the time. I know the larger
Clikit flowers have funny studs underneath and are for the big holes that Clikit
products allow... so as you can see in the pic, whatever can attach to the
flowers as well as the Scala bases, is a round Clikit disc, and due to the holes
inside all of these put together, they fit quite snug onto the flower stem :) -
Note that the top Clikit flowers are of a different size and don’t need the
Clikit disc, they attach straight onto the Scala base due to a smaller stud
underneath. I could have made lots, but there is only so much you can fit into
a Florist ;)

Not sure I like the lady with the green hair, though, a bit too
day-of-the-triffids for a florist shop! It might frighten the customers.

LOL... well... not that you would know it... but all the birds (9 of them) that
you can find around the building, are hers... she is the local hippy-bird-lady
;)
