Hey All!

Thought I'd share one of my latest creations with everybody, the Tazmainian
Devil from Looney Tunes!

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=108153

This was a fun one to make as I'm a HUGE fan of the Looney Tunes classic
cartoons.

This was made for a friend, so I just charged for the bricks I used. It was a
pretty quick build, I prototyped it in only about 8 hours. It measures about 10
inches tall and is comprised of mostly basic brick and plate. And if anyone is
curious, there is NO cheating!

Hope you enjoy!

Bill

Also, a quick question for all who might see this. Last post I mentioned I
opened an Ebay store for my models, but didn't get many comments one way or the
other (could just be a Lugnet thing, but it seems there isn't as much chatter as
there once was unless someone brings up the color issue!). I don't want it to
seem I am using Lugnet to advertise my work, I just want to share my models with
everybody! I figure most of you can build your own models, and don't need to buy
from me. So, I am thinking of compiling a mailing list of people who would be
interested in recieving updates when I add new models to the store rather than
bother people who might be offended by it being mentioned here. Any thoughts on
the subject? I'd be interested to know what you all might be thinking! Wait, did
I say quick question?!?

Thanks!

(...) You can always announce the new models in lugnet.market.auction which is a group especially for announcing stuff that you have for auction. But if it's a straight sale, announce it on market.buy-sell-trade or market.brickshops instead if you (...) (20 years ago, 12-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

(...) That's a great rendition of Taz in brick! Just curious; did you use this part: (URL) at the ankles to get the feet at the right rotation? (20 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

(...) Looks great--if the piece count (and hence price) is low enough, that would probably be a big seller for you. Of course, that's just a guess on my part, for all I know you wouldn't sell a single one! Derek (20 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

(...) When I first was this on Brickshelf (before you posted here), I thought it was a new set (and franchise-endorsment) from LEGO. I was amazed by how great it looked. You really got the perfect look for it! About your question, I'd be glad to (...) (20 years ago, 14-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)
