I've built a couple models honoring a pair of this year's hottest cars. A little bling and little zing... The 550hp 5.4L supercharged Ford GT: (URL) 345hp 5.7L Hemi-powered Chrysler 300C: (URL) Spencer Rezkalla (22 years ago, 26-Sep-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.town) !!

Re: The virtual Cube has come alive !

(...) It is indeed very heavy: more than 2 kilogram ! Considering the weight, the pieces slide together very easy. I could make a video to show it, but I'm not going to do that (I won't give you the solution to the puzzle ;-) ). Every now and than (...) (22 years ago, 24-Sep-04, to lugnet.build)

Re: The virtual Cube has come alive !

(...) Very cool! There's something very satisfying about bringing your own virtual instructions to life. And, just think, not only do you get to assemble the Lego pieces into the puzzle pieces, but when you're done you get to assemble the puzzle (...) (22 years ago, 24-Sep-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Why I kept my age a secret

When critiquing I try to do a few things, most importantly provide encouragment, for some people its a big thing to present their new MOC to the world. I try to gauge the level of the builder (which isn't really an age thing) from the tone of their (...)   The virtual Cube has come alive !

Hi all, A few months ago I created (virtually) a Lego version of a wooden puzzle (a cube later converted to a sphere). When we visited LegoLand Billund, I was lucky to find many brown and tan tiles to construct a real Cube (dimension 20 studs, 12 (...)   Re: Why I kept my age a secret

(...) I reckon you're pretty fair with your critiques, Paul. But you're right, they can be difficult, mainly because one is always unsure how they will be taken. Here's what I reckon: If you want your work critiqued, ask for it, even to the point of (...) (22 years ago, 24-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.teens, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Why I kept my age a secret

(...) Critiquing is tough. I've been giving ad-hoc critiques of almost everything for years and I still haven't got the hang of it... in fact, I often get the feeling that it has worked against my favour. I don't think I'd recommend it. Then again, (...) (22 years ago, 24-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.teens, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Why I kept my age a secret

snip (...) I think this important to note. I think alot of us, or at least myself, get stuck in a "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all" mentality. I will keep this in mind and try and do more critiquing... says the guy (...) (22 years ago, 24-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.teens, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.castle)

Re: Why I kept my age a secret

(...) Maybe part of it was that .space is simply BIG. Maybe part of it was that I've split energies between models and the Starship game. I don't know. But I just didn't feel the warm reception others seemed to get. Don't get me wrong--I'm not (...) (22 years ago, 24-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.teens, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.castle)

(...) Very sleek! Great use of slops and stripes. I don't like the horns on the nose, though... I realise it's the concept, I just think it detracts from the sleekness. Your call, of course. Cheers, (URL) Sci-Fi LEGO> (22 years ago, 22-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)
