| Hey Erik, Great design idea! I actually saw this on Brickshelf and started to post an announcement over on Classic-Castle.com before I noticed you'd announced it here. If you'd like to check out the discussion on Classic-Castle, my post is here: (...) (22 years ago, 16-Sep-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

| Hello all, I saw set #4886 emerge on Shop at Home today. It says "Coming Soon on 18 Oct 2004" for Australia, New Zealand and the European S@H countries. But for Canada and United States it read "Sorry, item is not available in this country". Does (...) (22 years ago, 12-Sep-04, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.basic, lugnet.build)

| (...) Sadly, not very-- If I had enough spare 1x2 plate w/ center studs (it took 120), I could probably make it sturdier pretty easily, but as is it's kinda fragile. Also, if you made it larger (like 15 wedge plates per pentagon instead of 10), (...) (22 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.build)

| I was playing around this weekend, and noticed a nifty way to form a nearly perfect pentagon. At first I sorta passed it off as merely neat, and little else. However, I also started thinking about how it would look as a dodecahedron (everyone's (...) (22 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build) !
