Thanks

The one thing that I might suggest would be to work a little on the
smoothness of the curve. Theres a sizable portion of 1-stud-offset
stairstepping that breaks up the curve a little.

Ill be honest; I got lazy. I went back to the arch geomerty I used in Study 5
(http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=232218) and said to myself
Heck, I think Ill use it for this one ;-) Use of plates in arch construction
is something youll be seeing (Ive got LLCAs PAB to help me there.)
My main thrust in this creation was to build a wide deck without the use of XL
baseplates as I did during my SCLTC days. It was the creator of this bridge
(http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=67615) and the use of large
bricks that got me thinking of doing the same.

Also, just being pedantic - the outside stripes should be white, not yellow.
Only the stripes by the center divide should be yellow. At least that is the
case in most, if not all, of the USA.
|
Youre right. My reasoning for the yellow was to break the shades of grey.
|
The mind boggles at the number of bricks in these bridge studies, though...
