  Re: Neptune's Moon Lagoon

(...) I built it more as absurdist comedic piece, since there are clearly more things wrong about it than there are right. Cartoon physics applies, so the water doesn't boil away, exposed skin isn't desicated (though I did originally plan to have (...)   Re: Neptune's Moon Lagoon

Well, since the pool works in a vacuum, the water must be contantly boiling out into space, and with an astonishingly fast rate too. You've modelled this effect nicly with the studs on the trans dark blue plates :-) With friendly greetings, M. (...)   Neptune's Moon Lagoon

This is my first Moonbase module. It's also my biggest MOC since...well, probably ever (I had a reasonably large collection as a child, but most of it was bright colors that didn't fit with Space or Castle very well). I detailed most of the gags in (...) (23 years ago, 20-Mar-04, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.fun, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)

  Re: Our honor defend...

(...) Nice!! Looks like the real thing, I drive by every day (I work at OSU), and always wanted to build it. Elas, in the scale of my other buildings, it will take up more light grey than I have, maybe I'll downscale. If you live near Columbus, why (...) (23 years ago, 20-Mar-04, to lugnet.build)

  Our honor defend...

...We will fight to the end for (URL) thing I've built in 2 years.. It's not 100% accurate, but I began running out of pieces. (23 years ago, 19-Mar-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.town, lugnet.sports)

Last chance for real grey -- let's send a message

As you may have seen in this thread: (URL) the limited production run -- 10,000 bags each -- of the classic grey, dark grey, and brown parts packs is now available at (URL). I know that these packs aren't necessarily a great deal compared to what (...) (23 years ago, 18-Mar-04, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.market.shopping) !!

Re: New MOC: Pretoria Class Carrier

(...) snip It's quite impressive that you managed to put together a ship this large, and that it can hold itself together. You deffinately have the engineering skills down that will allow you to build some complex large ships. It's very boxy, (...)   New MOC: Pretoria Class Carrier

(URL) started construction of this ship in January (or maybe it was Decemeber, I don't remember which) of 2003, it took about 7 more months for me to finish the model. Eventually, it came out to more than 6 feet long, and weighed in at about 40 (...) (23 years ago, 18-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.build)

Jojo, This is really cool. I love how you made it "feel" right. THanks for taking the time to show this. It would look great in a wild west setting! Jon (23 years ago, 17-Mar-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)
