lol WWJB;-)

Hope you enjoy my fine, four-fendered friend!

Very nice indeed. Lots of charming touches and it really captures the spirit of one of my favorite movies well (1)... but leaving Truly out... that truly is a shame. Did you consider the adventurers car cockpit at all?

Yes, but it has been so long since I built it I can’t remember why I rejected it. There were issues IIRC...

My biggest question, however, is why this MOC (basically 6 wide with extensions) is in a folder called “8-wide” instead of in its own? One might suspect you were trying to drum up view counts for the folder, unless one already knew of your totally innocent (2) and undevious nature. :-)

lol I have come to consider “8wide” as more of a scale than a simple description, but I have also come to change my outlook on Brickshelf as well. With the advent of MOCpages, it makes more sense to me to toss all of my pics into one index-type folder on Brickshelf and organize them with descriptions on MOCpages (Though I haven’t gotten around to creating my Chitty page yet) rather than to try and organize them on Brickshelf into folders (with the exception of LDraw instructions). I guess I really should have waited until I finished the MOCpage, but saylavey:-)
All ribbing aside, (and noting the lack of wing ribs), it’s still a great model. Spotlighted.

Thanks.

1 - I feel the Van Dyke brothers are cinematically underappreciated... the one (Cold Turkey: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066927/ ) where an entire town tries to stop smoking is also a classic!

Dick Van Dyke is pure acting genius.

2 - In the sense of not too sophisticated, evinced by your use of a Mac for most things...

Mac users unite! Soon I will be tapping on a new G5 (drool) So take your puny 32 bits of jealousy and get out! :-)

JOHN
