Next time you're pinned down by enemy fire and get the urge for some pizza, just
call Combat Pizza Delivery:

The Combat Pizza Car features all-terrain treads, a handy roof-mounted
side-swivel vulcan cannon and a personal Death-Rifle(tm) with optional bayonet
for those last few pesky meters.  Great for use in modern urban combat zones,
alien invasions or zombie-infested suburbs!

(Giving the pizza guy a heavy tip is strongly encouraged.)

This is too funny.  I don't know if anyone else can appreciate this but it
reminds me of an odd situation I was in years ago.  In the later stages of basic
training at Ft. benning GA, we went on a field training exercise.  At this point
we had essentially only Army food (not bad, actually, but standard fair) for at
many weeks.  The trucks dropped us at a clearing next to a paved road and left.
We deploy into the woods and commence digging ..hmm can't recall the name..
little trench things you can lay in to give you some cover.

The sergeant sends someone around and asks if we want to buy pizza and colas.
Of course we did.  After was seemed like forever this small red convertible
pulls into the clearing.  This young kid stands up looking around kind of
puzzled.  He knew where he was going and maybe they did this before but .. it
was wierd.  Pizza delivery in the field... extra weird for us getting junk food
for the first time in so long... and the sugar buzz from the cola!

I recall sitting there dead tired on 50/50 security.  Either you or your buddy
had to be up at all times.  Thinking it was warm, quiet and I was full of pizza,
even if I was tired... then the rain started, argh.  Hard to sleep in the rain
with only a crappy poncho and those little cover positions made nice little mud
puddles.

Sorry for rambling, but this clever MOC brought it all back like it was
yesterday.

Thanks

Ken

"Who do you call when you want some pepperoni?"

Nice vehicle.

I remember once when sailing through the Solent (channel between the English
mainland and the Isle of Wight), we discussed calling a pizza place in Gosport
that claims 'free delivery within five miles'.

But didn't.
