I don't actually own one, and none of the online images I've seen convey
any good sense of scale, but this appears to be the largest piece officially
used as a steering wheel, along with colors and availability:

I thumbed through the latest S@H catalog, and it appears that it's used as
the tires for the Red Baron tri-plane, with 4x4 radar dishes as hubs. The
interior of the steering wheel rim should be 4 wide, and since the 4x4 dishes
are 1.25" wide, the steering wheel should be fairly close to 1.5" wide. If you
want wider than that, you'll probably need to remove the interior rings from a
6x6 radar dish, or construct one from scratch using flexible tubes.

| Hey Y'all: What is the largest steering wheel made by TLC? What set(s) does it come in? I'm looking for something approximately 1 1/2 - 2" (4-5 cm?) in diameter -- is there such an element? Thanks in advance, -- Hop-Frog (21 years ago, 8-Jun-03, to lugnet.build)
