Have you put together two to ten LEGO parts in a particularly intriguing way to
solve a particular modeling problem?

I am currently working on a Miniland scale model of my 1967 International
Travelall and because of the scale I can't use pure sculpting as I have on
larger projects.

When people post their stuff they typically don't talk about such tricks, but
it seems like there's not reason not to share!

For those still reading this with a blank stare: think of the vehicles in
Miniland.  They're a decent size and look almost as if the parts would have to
be custom-molded for each model - but when you look at them up close, they're
simply a collection of smaller parts that magically make sense in a certain
configuration.

What's in your bag of brick tricks?

(...) Most of my MOCs are sculpted with Technic parts, and most of my tricks are very specific to the individual MOC (or related group of MOCs), so I don't know how useful they'd be as general construction techniques, but there is one trick that I (...) (21 years ago, 5-May-03, to lugnet.build)
