I've made available two Excel spreadsheets that aid in the design of
trusses. All details are explained on the webpage:

These programs can be used to size the members of trusses. They have their
limitations, and do not cover all types of trusses, yet :-) I'll still
continue to develop these sheets and make updates.

I only tinkered with it a little, but it seems pretty straight forward (at least (...) (22 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)
