Ah! What a relief. I've been waiting for this one since your first Escher.

Why? 'Cause it has been in my LEGO-pipeline for quite some time. While checking
out some of Escher's work (via the Lugnet-LOGO link) I realized this one would
be possible to build in LEGO. I never even tried to build it in bricks though
since I've been lacking basic parts. I started the project in LDRAW but never
got very far since it's a beast to work with in LDRAW, turning around the
angles and making sure the SNOT works etc. etc.. It needs to be built in the
brick!

Also, I'm certain your version is a lot better then what I might have produced
and my doing so might have spoiled the fun for you guys, so I waited - and it
was well worth the wait!

Did you try to make the handrails? It should be possible with the help of a ton
more SNOT. Also tiling all surfaces to hide the studs would make a better
impact, IMHO.

Still, it's a very good job and a lot better then my patience and supply of
bricks would have allowed! My complimants!

So, that was the end of Jennifer Clark's render of her truck as wallpaper...
