I was making headway for a bit, but crossed 2 problems.
1, I don't know how to build a bridge across the 2 mountain baseplates
without it being easily broken.

How long is the bridge? If the bridge is long, there will be problems with
the joints staying together without enough reinforcement. Use long plates
and join them on the top and bottom with plates lengthwise...the longer the
parts, the better. Ifit's REALLY long, a middle support might be an idea, too.

2, The baseplate tends to flex when I try to attach
small buildings and such to it.

Make sure that your baseplate is on a flat surface. And be gentle:)

Does anyone have any idea as to how to fix this? I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.
Hasta La Vista, Sean
