The beads have definitely been a big thing for me the last couple of weeks.
In addition to the pumpkin patch and the new lamps that I've outfitted I
also bought a bunch of beads in the colors of green, red, purple and yellow.
I'm putting together a Farmer's Market for the RichLUG train show this
weekend and the green beads make good melons when stacked sideways in one of
the brown adventurers crates. I put some 1x1 round trans-green plates on
the red ones to create giant, mutant mini-fig tomatoes. I'll be trying to
pass the purple ones off as eggplants and the yellow ones could themselves
make a decent gourd or maybe a squash.

At BrickFest this year I won one of the Adventurer pens as a door prize. It
has some neat square beads with zebra and tiger stripe printing on them. I
was thinking that some of these printed beads would make good decorations if
I was to build some kind of adventurers/explorers club setting.
I also think the square beads would work as gifts under a X-mas tree MOC. I
thought I'd had a brilliant idea about using the Belville bows (of which
I've got WAY too many) as ribbons on the square beads. Unfortunately the
hole in the top of the bead is too big for the ribbon stud. Oh well, a 1x2
round on top of a square bead could still look like a present.
Those are my ideas from my recent bout of Beadmania.
