Paul-
I think your engines are en fuego! I am a big fan of 6 stud wide stuff
because it goes a long way IMO to create realism. I can hear the groans
and the sound of pick-axes already as the GMLTC begins road construction
to widen the lanes;-)
I especially like you having photographed them outside; the sunlight
really makes them look cool:-) My question is how prototypical are
these engines? It appears that you are definitely modeling in some
cases and taking creative license in others, or in all cases?
Personally, I try to model as faithfully as I can to a prototype, and
then as a last resort create features that *resemble* reality. What
turns my crank is finding new applications of specialty pieces to
heighten realism (oh oh).
I am sorry that I missed the fest and seeing the vehicles in person.
They look great:-)
