Howdy!

Here is one of my latest Star Wars models- I've been looking around for a
good TaunTaun for a while but never saw one that I thought captured the
"feel" of the animal so I built this:

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=18495

The legs, arms, and tail all move (see the "gallop" pic) and it can stand on
its own. The saddle and horns are brown (sorry about the blurry-ish pics)
and all other parts are light grey. I also included a pic with Hoth Han for
scale- it actually ends up looking a little too tall, but the articulation
makes up for it.

Someday I'd like to Ldraw it, but I don't have any experience, so if anyone
wants to take a crack at it, be my guest. I'm very happy with it overall,
especially the feet and tail (see "rear" pic) which i think adds to the
organic look.

Anyhoo- LMKWYT and thanks!
Moish

(...) great set for Lego to release! Can I use any more exclamation points? :) One question--how are the legs attached to the body? Could you post a half-dissassembled picture to show how it was built? Bruce (22 years ago, 5-Jun-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)
