Holger,
Very nice. I think my favorite build detail is the way you put 1x1 plates
into technic bricks to get the pattern in the yellow castle part. The
little birds sitting here and there are nice, too.
This has been a fun idea all around. Maybe someday we should have a contest
where the idea is to take an existing set and rework it like in these. In
this vein I just saw on Brickshelf Peer Risch's miniature version of the
Santa Fe Super Chief train set:

| Hi @ll, now it's me myself who build a variation of set 1592 ;-) I was inspired by the blue ground plates used in the "after storm tide" variation by Klaus.H and Moin99: (URL) I build a Venezia variation: (URL) fun with the pics, LMKWYT and go for (...) (23 years ago, 13-May-02, to lugnet.announce.moc) !
