| I don't know if this had been addressed before, but since I'm kind of new, here goes: Has anyone else experienced a random yellowing of white bricks and plates? Some pieces turn this color, while others adjacent will not. Because of this I don't (...) (23 years ago, 27-Feb-02, to lugnet.build)

| (...) I would guess that sun/UV damage is cumulative. Possibly the reason that adjacent pieces don't fade equally is that some of them have had more previous exposure than others. Another possibility, as you mention, is manufacturing variances. The (...) (23 years ago, 27-Feb-02, to lugnet.build)

| I'm just learning this stuff, so don't quote me. The plastic is damaged by light at the more energetic end of the spectrum: ultraviolet. After time, it reflects less of the visible light at that end of the spectrum: white plastic starts to absorb (...) (23 years ago, 27-Feb-02, to lugnet.build)
