Take a look at this classic space set:

If you look carefully at the backside of the launch tower you'll see two of
the faucets used to good effect, along with a short length of thin rubber
hose.

They are similarly used on the base of the tower, where you see the fuel
truck connecting to them.  Ah, the memories.

Way cool. Thanks for sharing. Apparently LEGO wasn't as uptight about using
parts in bizarre ways back then as I am now. :-)
