I've been thinking of building a tracked crane for a long time, I finnaly
started it!  I started with a 2 wide frame between the planned tracks
(Dacta;-)), but decided upon 4 wide to allow room for the 4 wide turn table.
The body is 8 wide, with a 4 wide cab.  There was originaly 2 2x6x2 weight
bricks, but I had to switch to 3 for enough counter weight.  I may actully
have to switch to 4 when I extend the boom more.  So far the crane is
belanced correctly, it can hold weight up allready:-).

Now that i've head of the ISCC contest is going on I'm extremely happy, so
I'm in a rush to finish this model to enter it.  I think I should be done
before November.  So pictures should be coming soon, look on
http://shiningston.topcities.com/index.html for more news, or wait for me to
post here.
